Welcome to Willow class!

We are a class of Year 2 and Year 3 children who love learning. We enjoy reading and we particularly like reading and reciting poetry. We have fun topics and love going on school trips.

Our topic, 'Ideas That Changed The World', got off to flying start with a school trip to the Nene Valley Railway where we learned, first hand, about the invention of the steam engine and the impact it had on the World.

As historians we have found out about George Stephenson and Isambard Kingdom Brunel; as scientists we have been learning about forces and magnetism. As artisits we looked at some of the beautiful designs created by William Morris and these have inspired our own artwork. Have a look in the William Morris folder.

We have been completing lots of creative homework tasks which you can have a look at in the Creative Homework folder.

Don't forget... you can find this week's spellings and homework in the attachments below.
